We are a well established family run business specialising in residential property management in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Founded in 1998 the business has grown from strength to strength, not through advertising but simply by word of mouth. Many of our landlords have been with us since the early days and are very happy to put their trust in us. For many, their property portfolio is their pension and therefore they want to be satisfied that they can rely on us to care for their property and ensure that their investment is secure.
We also act as factors for a national charity providing low cost housing for disabled ex-Service personnel. This involves responsibility for daily maintenance of their properties in this area including full renovations when tenants move out.
We firmly believe that our Company offers a friendly and efficient service and pride ourselves in the personal contact we nurture with our landlords and tenants. From January 2018, all letting agents must abide by the Letting Agents Code of Practice and must be qualified and registered agents. We pride ourselves in being one of the first Scottish agents to qualify with a CIH level 3 certificate in Letting and Managing residential property.
Marjory is the founder of the business and oversees all operations within the company. Responsible for final inspections and ensuring properties are up to standard for new tenants moving in.
Jenny joined the Company in 1998 and has achieved much with us. Jenny is responsible for the efficient running of the business. She is responsible for client accounts and new business.
Our property manager joined us in 2006 and is responsible for the regular property inspections and overseeing property renovations. He is clerk of works for our charity client.
Leah joined us in 2010. She is a valuable member of staff and the only non family member. She ensures smooth daily running of the office and is the initial contact with tenants and reports daily maintenance issues. Leah looks after the daily rent accounts.
Consultant
After a career lasting 25 years as partner with one of the local legal offices, Neil makes his invaluable experience and legal knowledge available to the team. This in turn is passed to our clients. Having a solicitor on hand is essential to keep up with the ever changing legislation affecting the lettings market today.
